Why am I experiencing slow internet access.

Recently I am experiencing slow internet (browser) access times. I have cleaned out all of my cookies and temporarry internet files. My paging files are set at 766 and 1500. Please advise, thanks, Barbara

The cause of slow internet access could be any number of reasons Your computer's internal settings may be slowing up your access time, or if you are on a network-could be too much traffic, or the site could be experiencing problems, or the type of connection you have to the internet such as modem, cable or DSL could affect your access time.
