How do I get multiple columns in my 'start/programs' menu on Windows 98

When running Windows 95 and clicking Start / Programs, multiple columns of all my programs whould appear. After I upgraded to Windows 98 SE, clicking Start / Programs now only shows one column with a down arrow. Since most of newly installed programs go to the bottom, I have to wait each time whle scrolling down. How do I get Windows 98 SE to show multiple columns?
