My child said that my babysitter is logging onto my computer while I'm at work. I set a windows password .....but this doesn't help because all i had to do was press the cancel button and it bypassed and logged onto windows anyway. I want to completely shut her out of my system while im gone. I want something that will work even when you turn the system off and then back on again. How can I Lock out my computer this way. Screensaver passwords can be bypassed also if you turn the computer off and back on. Help please.

I would advise you to Set up a password in BIOS Simply press the DEL key (or whatever key the bootup screen says to go into setup) Go into the setup screen that lets you put in a password and this should prevent the babysitter from getting in Then to make sure that she can't pop the CMOS battery and erase the password close the case with tamper-proof screws Or install a case lock Otherwise Win 98 is easy to get into

Hope this helped.
