Xp home

I bought 2 copies of Windows XP; XP Professional for my office and XP Home for my home machine. Unfortunatly, I accidently installed XP Professional on the computer that I intended to install XP home. I don't want to uninstall it because I am afraid that I will lose all my shortcuts and menu items. Is there a way that I can install Home edition over the Professional edition without screwing things up? Will the recovery console do this?

I would really appreciate your help.

Hi you can do a backup of your files and and remove xp professional and load xp home then load your files back on your computer so you will see your files and will not loose it
