I bought 2 copies of Windows XP; XP Professional for my office and XP Home for my home machine. Unfortunatly, I accidently installed XP Professional on the computer that I intended to install XP home. I don't want to uninstall it because I am afraid that I will lose all my shortcuts and menu items. Is there a way that I can install Home edition over the Professional edition without screwing things up? Will the recovery console do this?

I would really appreciate your help.

Dave
