Where or where has my OS gone?

Why is it, that my computer screen is blank,and say's "operation systems has not been

found?.........My computer was working fine, Until Sunday,Then in the middle of my

screen it said,Do you wish to save Data or Files...I clicked close, not ok..Why should

it be there..My grand-kids wouldn't know how to bring up that.....It's like my computer

has crashed.....I can't get any-thing on it..All my programs are gone.....No-thing there.

please respond on 6/24/03....Or asap.....Thanx.....I may have to reload.....I don't know.

First you can try inserting your orginal OS CD upon starting your computer If this doesn't work let me know what the computer says Also upon turning on the power to your computer, as soon as you see any action click ctrl, alt, del If worst comes to0 worst reinstall OS or take computer to a shop.
