Is your CD rom not recongized??

hi, hopfully someone can help me. I flashed my burner with a wrong firmware, it wasnt working anyways at all, but now its probly destroyed. But now it is not even in device manager, no cd rom devices at all, even my dvd was taken off. can anyone tell me what i can do to get even my dvd back on? formating seems like a bad idea incase i cant get the roms working again, any help would be great

If u was thinkin about formatting your divices that would not be a bad idea but that can wait You can just reinstall the drivers for your devices that will bring back and show both of your devices. if that does not work you can then format it and install again.
