A ' DLL ' problem. When accessing certain sites (such as Google or attempting to update my McAfee Virus Scan) I receive a Microsoft Internet Explorer error which says there is a problem. It references Mod: Urlmon and advises that I can report it to Microsoft which I have done. Other times, it has given me an illegal operation error which states ' I Explorer caused invalid page fault at module URLMON.DLL @016f.702b9660.

I have gone to Add/Rmove programs and run the "Repair" Internet Explorer and also gone to Microsoft and ran the updates and patches to Windows 98. No improvement.

I have Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2800.1106. Any suggestions or solutions?

Thank you.

When you are receiving the message 'Invalid page fault at module URLMON.DLL', I can conclude that the dll file URLMON is either damaged or corrupted We can go about fixing this problem by downloading the dll-file URLMON You will be able to do this at www.dll-files.com Connect to the internet and input the following website into your address bar Locate and click on the link labeled 'Download dll Files' on the left side of the page Clicking this will refresh the page to bring up a number of different dll files Scroll all the way down to URLMON.dll and click it to begin downloading After you have successfully downloaded the file you will want to reboot your computer for all the new changes to take effect Good Luck!!
