Changing Files

I have opened some files with notepad and i cant change them back to open with the original prog, i have tried going into windows explorer, tools, folder options, file type but the file type is listed under the notepad icon. is it possible i can go into the registry and reset them back to default, cos ive tried everything else, even remaming the files shift and f2

If you have open up lets say a file that you have been working on with microsoft word, Then simply go to file/save as/ then save it under a different program If not then you have to right click on the file you're talking about and click on open with this should give you the option of opening that file with any program Carlos Millan Jr.
