I recently decided to rearrange my room. In a hurry , shuttiing down windows. i did not give my computer plenty of time to "save settings". by doing this, the computer will not start up right also i can not get into the "dos" screen to trouble shoot it. .. I will try to push "esc" and get into it . I have a envision monitor and it will not show anything on the monitor. I just dont want to lose all my digital pictures ...

Maybe you damage the power supply if you had done this very often or if the computer was processing something at the same thing it was turn off, if you smell something burning then you will need to replace a power supply

Check to see if the PC (not the monitor) light is on, if is on then is your monitor or memory incompatible with your motherboard.

If your PC doesn't show any light then you need either to unplug unnecessary devices such as USB hub, and try to turn on again Also if you install a new memory on your PC, undo the install then try to turn again.

If the problem persist then you need to replace the power supply and if you have alot of devices attach to your PC then buy a power supply with more Wattz capacity.
