In this case you should use windows xp system recovery to put everything back to normal.

In order to get to system restore, you are going to boot the computer from the cd drive, turn it

on the computer and very quickly press the F10 key to get into the CMOS, now go to the boot menu and place it this way first boot: cd, second boot: removable media: third boot: hard disk Now exit saving all the changes and reboot the machine with the win xp cd inside.

Once you are in the win xp setup screen choose to use system restore to restore the computer if this don't work them you are going to have to reinstall windows, in order to do this just follow the same steps as before to get to system restore but instead of choosing system restore you are going to choose new windows installation.
