I bought my computer about a year ago and after six months a bought a few games and had problems. During these games the computer almost freezes (does 1 frame a second sort of thing) and the sound repeats the last few seconds. The computer slowly moves throught he game at this speed no matter how long it is left. This occurs in Many games Most of which are either first person or strategy. (Star trek elite force, jedi knight 2, Zanzarah, ORB , Aquanox, etc) these are all recent releases. Older games which are about pre 2002 have no problem. I meet all the recommended systyem requirements. I have tried everything a can think of disabling hardware acceleration for the video, closing all other programs etc. If you cant help me I will have to return the computer (it is still under warranty).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
