I have two systems both configured the same (or so I thought) using XP. On one I can see and clear the temp internet files and folders in Content.IE5 folder. The other system doesn't show the files or folders in Content.IE5 but rt.clicking the folder and going to properties shows thousands of files, many folders and millions of mb's.

1- Why can't I see them?

2- How do I clear them?

THANX for your help.

When you go to Content.IE5, do not right click, but double left click, and the window will open up.

In the dialog box, on the menu bar, click on TOOLS, then choose FOLDER OPTIONS from the drop down box that appears.

Another dialog box will appear with a few choices Choose the tab that says VIEW Once you have made that choice, go to the section thta says ADVANCED SETTINGS, There you will see a folder icon that says HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS, Under that selection you will choose the option that says SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS Then click apply, then ok This should show you all the files contained in that folder.
