Company I work for had a network person come in and they installed passwords at the "my document" levels for each users to access - 2 Windows xp and 1 Windows 98. However the person that did this did not leave the password information and is no longer available to find out what the passwords he put in are - how can I get around this - the XP machines are not set up to enter passwords on access to user accounts can these password be over riden or can we create new ones.? We can not use the network as we cannot see each others computers without entering a password which we do not have.
Thanks

Windows XP has an admin account in the system You can go in as admin and change all of the passwords You need to have admin rights I do it all the time.
