Solution to Freezing and unfreezing of computer

My computer has been having problems with freezing over the last few weeks. Now I can't get it to unfreeze. When I reboot it starts up, runs scandisk, then freezes when it starts to load. It even does this is safe mode. Any suggestions?

The computer either needs to have more memory installed, or your desktop space or files needs to be deleted to free up memory space.
