I keep getting reprimanded by my superiors for supposedly downloading Spybot - Search and Destroy and it keeps causing problems on the computer I work on. I have NEVER downloaded this file and apparently some website keeps automatically downloads it onto the computer and installs it when another person logs onto the same machine. Is there a way I can block this or is this just something I'll have to watch for? I really need help with this because I'm sick of getting in trouble. Thanks!

Does more than one person use the same computer? If so then it could be quite possible that someone simply keeps downloading and installing the program Spybot search and destroy is not a malicious piece of software that normally functions in the manner that you describe This may be the work of another user I recommend disabling or adding a password to the administrator account as it will keep unauthorized users from installing programs onto the same computer You may have to talk to your IT department about implementing this.
