Hard Drive Compatibly

i put in a new harddrive and put the computer back to gether and now when i try to start the computer it trys to start but kicks out no power ?

Your mother board can't pick up your hard drive because it can't support it You'll have to buy a new mother board in order to support your new hard drive and everything else that you put into you computer
