After writting to a RW disk, or reading a file from, the drive apparently completes operation but I cannot eject drive. No LED indications or noises that appear to show that it is trying. I can eject music cd's and game cd's afteer listening/playing. The drive had worked when I got the system 2+ years ago. I have tried formating as sharing format and drag and drop. the sharing format uses all space, reguardless of size of files, the drag and drop uses only space needed but I cannot eject the disk, I have to restart the system to eject.

What computer burnig software are you using? It might have alot to do with your problem

Using Adaptec's easy cd creator or Roxio might be a better choice than burning by default Many times programs conflict resulting in your system freezing.

For more information visit Roxio at http://www.roxio.com/
