My computer keeps restarting for no reason, all the previous questions about computer restarts on this site have not helped, sometimes when the computer boots up i will get a message at the very beginning when it checks system health, the message says CMOS/GPNV checksum bad. What can i do to fix this problem? Thankyou.

I had a similar problem like that and all I did was put in my 98SE and it reinstall a file that got corrupted and the problem was solved.
