My computer cannot stay booted up for more than 1 minute before freezing what should I do?

You should try to run computer in last good known configuration mode You can do so by hiting F8 right after you turn it on If that don't work You can do the same but this time run it in safe mode Try to scan your hard drive with norton anti virus 2004 pro during safe mode It should work fine.
