We lost power last night and we do have a surge protector. We are on a cable modem. When we got up this morning we get the blue screen and when we reboot it says " inaccessible boot device". Is there a way to fix this without reloading windows. We run win 2000.

You would have to to run windows 2000 again because the surge might have cause the progams to be lost when the power went down.
