Restore

I couldn't boot XP, and couldn't get anywhere with Recovery, system restore or anything. I re-installed XP from the CD ROM, but seem to have lost everything, WORD, files, AOL, everything. What can I do?

At this point, once you install the Operating system over again, pretty much all of your files are gone you can try to check on the hard drive to see if any of you files are still there but as far as programs they are all gone and you will have to reinstall them over again.
