I have an echo in all my speaker playback. This echo is there regardless of microphone use. It makes playback of music, and voice very difficult to understand. the sound card checks out ok. any suggestions or ideas? This PC was originally a business computer, so the echo has always been there, but was not that anoying. I recently retired the computer to personal use and now it is a problem.

The problem with your speakers is that its picking up a radio frequency This could be caused by haveing your computer next to a lamp, tv aetna or the room you have computer in is picking up somekind of frequency I encountered this same problem the best solution is to move your computer to another room and see if you still hear music playing in the backround of your speakers.
