My computer has just started (yesterday) making a loud humming noise, almost a grinding noise. The computer works fine. The noise is all the time, whether I am working on it or not.
Any suggestions?
By the way, I enjoy your radio program. I live in the area.
Thanks!

First you must open your CPU and try to clean the fan out maybe there could be dust in the fun If that dose not work maybe you might have to add memory to your computer This might help the problem.
THE NOISE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MEMORY It could be the power supply fan or the cpu fan, it's not the fan then one of the drives areen't working and needs to be replaced.
