How to fix your mic problem?

can u help cant get my mic to work, its plug into the right hole on the tower all boxes on volume control have no ticks in them even the mic box is not tick, cant do a sound recording its not registering sound as the green line want move as it ment to when u speek in to the mic you can here u voice in the speekers but that its can you help ?

Make sure your MICROPHONE is plugged into the hole in the back of the tower that has a little picture of a MICROPHONE If that doesn't work, then go to volume controls, then go to options and click on properties, after that, click on the recording bullet, then make sure the MICROPHONE box is checked If taht doesn't work, just get a new MICROPHONE.
