Why doesn't my install wizard work?

My question is why dont the istall wizard seem to work when i put a program disk in to install, and i have no sound either all seems to be working but no sound thanks

Maybe there is a problem with ur plug n play feature, you should check that too if there are any settings switched that would make it not work.
