What is a video driver

All icons and other print on my desktop are very large. I have tried doing a right click on the desktop and going to properties...however, the size portion is gray and therefore can't use it. Any suggestions on how to reduce the size of these icons and everything on the desktop. It is also affecting my web page size. Thanks very much.

Seems like you need to install your video card driver all over again Some how it seems to be erased and needs to be installed again So just install the video card drivers that should have came on a cd rom and you should be fine If you cant find that disk you will need to search online for your make and model of your video card and install them from there. You could also try a windows update and see if they listed the driver for you..
