I recently obtained a fairly new laptop (Dell Inspiron 8100) from a friend and would like to completely start over with just the operating system (XP), Office Professional and Norton Antivirus 2002 (those are already installed on it) - completely removing all other things that he installed on it in the last 18 months.

What is the easiest way to do so?

Thanks.

The best way to remove your unwanted files is to reformat your harddrive which will start the computer from the beginning and if you still want the office professional and norton antivirus u could dave the install files on a disk and reinstall them after u have reformated your harddrive and gotten rid of your unwanted files.
