How could you have deleted important mail?

I have deleted some important emails from my yahoo account. Is there any way to retrieve them somehow? Thanks

When you delete your mail from your yahoo account you have a couple of hours to a day to retrieve your mail Your deleted mail will be in the trash can for the time I just mentioned Other than that you will not be able to retrieve your deleted mail
