When surfing on the web there is usually a lot of clicking here & there to move from place to place without even thinking twice about using our keyboard This should not be the case since it is often quicker & easier to use keyboard shortcuts to get there I have compiled together a list of frequently used keystroke combinations that you may find quite helpful.

Internet Explorer Keyboard Shortcuts:

1 Alt D selects the Address bar.

2 Ctrl O brings up the Open dialog box for browsing to another Web site.

3 Ctrl N opens a new browser window

4 Backspace is the same as choosing the Back button.

5 Shift-Backspace is the same as clicking the Forward button.

6 The F5 key will refresh the screen

7 Use F11 to toggle between a full screen and normal view.

8 CTRL D will add the current page to you favorites.

9 Ctrl-W Close current Window

10 Ctrl-A Select All

These tricks should improve your browsing time with a little practice.
