Error occurs in Ssl.dll when you try to start Internet Explorer. Symptoms, MC IE has encountered a problem wnd needs to close. We are sorry etc. Cause reported to occur if an unknown 3d party program is installed that conflicts with IE. Keyword KB817833 Cant find the referenced program to disable. Cant find the suggested folder that may hold the problem. I have disabled the third party progam in the Tools menu and this solves the problem, except that I now cannot use my popup feature and other possibles. Two previous "experts" have failed to help. This answer is straight from Microsoft

1 Close all Internet Explorer browser windows.

2 In Windows Explorer, open the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Support Software

3 If the following two files exist in the Support Software folder, rename both files:

Install.exe

Ssl.dll

4 To rename a file, follow these steps:

Right-click the file, and then click Rename.

Type a new name for the file (for example, change the file name extension to .old), and then press ENTER.

Good Luck! Hope I was helpful.
