Why does Outlook keep freezing?

My email program outlook express is freezing up on me when I go to read my

messages or when I try deleting them, sometimes I can use ctrl alt delete buttons and a window pops up that says end task shutdown cancel and I usually hit end task button except the whole computer freezes up and I end up having to reboot the computer?

I'm using a dsl and the other day they came by an installed a new dsl which is faster connecting to

the net but since then I have been having more problems with my email.
