Andrew:

Many monitors do this if you exceed its resolution limit For example if your highest resolution your monitor can go is 1024x786 and you try running your game at 1200x1600 resolution your screen will go blank Lower your resolution for unreal tournament 2003 to see if the problem persists or not If it does look for any patches for unreal tournament 2003 and new/updated video card drivers from www.ati.com.
