Downloading Attacments

On some of my incoming mail that has been forwarded I get the message "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: Fw_XXXX". XXX being the subject name. My question is how or where are these attachments and can I open them or did the OE send them into cyber space? Thank you.

The only way to open an e-mail with the attachments that it has is to save them by downloading them into your computer When you open the e-mail you should have an option that says download now or a link in which you can go and download it from there Carlos
