Whats up with the drives?

when i computer starts up it does not detect that i have an IDE drive and then when i go to my computer on my desktop it shows that i do not have my f drive which is my cd-rom drive it just shows i have my E drive which is my burner drive. do i need a new driver for my cd rom drive or what do i need to do?

Dear matt you might have to do alittle trouble shooting it my be that your ide cables are not connected properly.
