How do I get rid of the w32.spybot.worm?

Recently I was surfing the web and a virus alert for the w32.spybot.worm popped up. I did everything that the Norton Virus said and still the file won't delete or be quarrantined. I even manually tried to delete the file but it won't delete. I don't know how I got this file because I'm very careful about what I do on my computer. I can already see that the worm has done some damage because it changed my homepage to www.findthewebsiteyouneed.com and when i went to change it back it won't let me. Please help me solve this problem I've stressed all my options.
