Once when safe mode came up, I accidently deleted it in the middle of the process. Ever since, safe mode lies just under the desk top. When I shift from destop icon to icon, the safe mode screen appears from 1 to 3 seconds then the icon I selected opens. It is irritating.

I cannot locate the file that is screwed up.

I reloaded win98SE to see if it would correct, but it stayed the same.

No one I know seems to know where to look or the name of the safemode files.

Any ideas?

Thank you Bob Garrison [email protected]

Have you tryed to reformat the system with a different operating system ty windows 98 or 95 these opertaing systems come with a safemode so your computer should recieve a new one with no problems if the problems proceeds try to contact the company in which the system was manuifactuered.
