Why do I get error messages when I am on the internet, then it shuts down?

error messages keep appearing on the screen when i try to go on the internet but the mesage does not affect any microsoft web pages.when the internet is being used a warning message appears and shuts the whole internet system down how do i prevent this from happening????

First you can check your internet settings, see if you have a prefences switched that would cause this If that is not the problem you should do a scan for viruses if you have not done so already Also, Running spyware removal software would help Try downloading Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware 6.0.
