Why when I click into a link/hyperlink nothing at all happens?

In outlook express 6 or internet explorer when I click onto a link/hyperlink nothing at all happens

If you are trying to log in to a hyperlink you must make sure you are typping in the correct address, in order to ofcourse be able to get connetcted.
