My wife's computer has been infected with a virus called: W32.Blaster.Worm. We ran Norton antivirus and it detected the virus but was unable to quarantine or delete it. This virus apparently shuts down the computer within 60 seconds of signing on to the internet. How can the virus be eliminated from this computer? Also how did we contract it?

Thanks, Tom Slivka

You would have to get the anti-virus to this and upload it to the computer, you can buy the anti virus or shoudl be able to download online from someone else's computer You could have contracted it from an e-mail, or for downloading a file.
