When try to print computer shut down but comes back up and then print

Every time I try to print, the computer initially shuts down and restarts. After it comes back up, the print job is pending and will then print OK.

The only recent change was the addition of a Memorex CD-RW drive a couple of weeks ago, but everything seems to be working fine. This problem just started a few days ago.

The system information shows memory 128 MB (65% Utilized). I ran Norton Diagnostics, but the tests all passed. I'm at a loss.

Why does my system reboot every time I try and print something? Thanks for any help.
