WHAT IS PRINTER

My printer, HP 694C Desk Jet, just started printing lines through the documents - regardless of what application is being used (outlook, word, excel, etc). I have changed out the ink cartridge thinking it was the ink; I have modified the print quality when printing thinking it might have something to do (best copy versus normal) which did not work; I have also cleaned the pens as the instructions for the printer indicated should be done - since this just started happening it doesn't appear to be anything with the computer - can the printer be fixed or do I need to purchase another one?

This problem might be cause by your printer photo sensitive drums check your printer to see if there is any small peace of paper trap or stuck there if not you may of to clean the photo sensitive drum.
