Installation to register 6.0. failed

I was updateing my virus software(Mcafee 7.0). After finally unistaling 6.0. I had to go into the register to unistall, because I keep getting the error message "Installation failed error 1314 the speceified path n is unavailible". Now that the old Mcafee is uninstalled. I start the install process, but about half way though, I get the Error message (Error 1314). Then it aborts. Any ideas what up??
