my computer completly powers off at times and won't restart unless I pull the plug out from the rear of the case and replug it in again. It does this when i try to install a program either from the internet or from the cd player. If its any hint, i tryed to reinstall xp on a hard drive, and when it came to the part where it said "Installing Windows", the computer would just shut off, not reboot, just shut off. I would have to pull the plug from the rear of the case and plug it in again to restart. It looks like whenever there's a surge in the hard drive, it does this. It does this on 2 seperate hard drives, 2 seperate video cards, i tested the memory in another computer, and on this "new" motherboard. Im out of money and witts end, what can be the culprit? Thanks for your answer.
