Computer stopped loading programs

COuld you help me out? My computer stopped loading programs. I ahd a popupthat says

Loader Error

The ordinal 173 could not be located in the dynamic link library.

OLEAUT32.DLL

I thought I had the blaster worm virus but it isnt possible because I only have windows 98.

If you have any clue on what it might be please tell me!!!!!

You need to check the control panel and check the loading procedure or maybe you deleted a file Reinstall the Os disk.
