Black out Problem

The problem I am having is, my cd-rw drive light stays on and it won't open. Also, the hard drive activity light( I have no clue what it's called) stays lit. This all seemed to happen once the power was restored after the blackout we had on thursday. my brother-in-law said that he was on the computer when the blackout happened. i was on my computer at work during the blackout and the come computers here are fine. did something happen???

It could be a few things You computer could have some problem with the power supply or your data may have burned out just a little or you may even have problems with your drives Try restarting your computer for a few times, if it doesn't work then remove your drives and try them on another computer Carlos Millan Jr.
