What is pop ups.

Like everybody else, I paid heed and downloaded the required upgrades and patches to combat the various worms that are out there. After Loading Service Pack 4, I keep getting annoying pop up warnings about active x controls/scripts all the time while I'm at a web site. I've tried changing the security settings under tools>options>security but it has no effect. Is there a way to stop the pop ups AND get rid of the auto update program they put in my systray?

You can try a website called mozzila There a program that you can download for free that would stop all the pop ups.
