No mouse

After reinstaling windows 98 mouse wont work. It worked all the way through the installation.

After the installation was complete the mouse wont work until i go to properties and unstall it, Then turn the computor back on and let it reinstall. Then it will only work thru that session.

Then Same thing all over again. What can i do?

Go to device manager and see if your mouse is showing up on your computer install or download the driver for that mouse.
