You said check my connection on system restore. I don't know what that means. I went to system properties in control panel, Under troubleshooting my system restore disabled is not checked. Is it possible I deleted some part of the system restore accidentally. Is there some way to check the registry and if something is missing put it back?

What you can do is run msconfig in the run command and from there you can troubleshoot with system restore
