Problems downloading updates for Norton?

i tried to run norton firewall live update and gave me a list of things that it said it couldn't update-file:C:\progra~1\common~1\symant~1\ccApp.ex54520 bytes 5/20/03 7:34:10v1.0.8.1 also ccEMlpxy.dl 152824 bytes

ccerrdsp.dl 120056 bytes

ccemlul.dl 75000 bytes

ccevt.dl 185592 bytes

cclqview.ex 144632 bytes

ccpwdsvc.ex 99576

ccregmon.dl 95480 bytes

ccregvfy.ex 58616 bytes

ccshtdwn.ex 25848 bytes

ccwebwnd.dl 169208 bytes

srnew.dl 107680 bytes

srold.dl 107680 bytes.

I am also getting all kinds of error messages, some to kernel 32, i ran norton 2003 for a virus scan and it said no virus found. but i get a flase on the screen that says virus alert with a big red X

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Nortons.
