What is win2000 pro.

The problem I am encountering is I am unable to use any of the computers software, for example-microsoft word and excel. It asks me to install windows 2000 professional, but when I do...the computer freezes. It also asks me to install windows 2000 professional S-1 and something having to do with data1.msi. i do not understand. Hope you can help.

Look at your system requirement Also if you have a big Harddrive and not enough memory that would cause your computer to freeze It could also be that your office cd is missing the msi file.
